My graphics card warns me that it doesn't have enough power to run.
PSU is a Hiper Type R 580W, graphics card is a 7800GT.

Everything has been running fine for a year now. All power connectors are still plugged in properly etc.
Is this likely to be another Hiper failure, or could it be something else?

I would'nt wait to see if it's yet another Hiper failure as it could be damn costly.

I don't suppose you can try another psu at all?

I did read this a while back.

Electrolytic capacitor aging. When used heavily or over an extended period of time (1+ years) a power supply will slowly lose some of its initial wattage capacity.

You could try unplugging non essential peripherals and see if you still get the warning. Drop down to just one HD and if it goes away, then its def. your PSU.
