PSU ok 4 this rig?

i'm upgrading my m8's pc, gonna strip every thing but was thinking about using his psu that hes got in the new rig.
his psu is a hiper 3s425 and the new bits are...

Asus A8N5X Sck939,PCI-Express,SATA,Lan,Snd Motherboard
AMD Opteron UP 146 2.0Ghz Socket 939 64bit Processor -OEM-
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro Sock754/939 Cooler

or should i also get a HiperPower 480Watt ATX2 24Pin Ultra Quite PSU just to be safe??

That psu is 425w im assuming? If so I would have thought that it would probably be ok, but if he plans to overclock then I would get something around the 500w range.
