PSU on it’s way out?

I’m getting some crazy, what I assume is, coil whine from my PSU. I just upgraded from a 1080ti to a 7900xtx so I think it’s really maxing out the psu.

Anyone know if:

A) is that coil whine?
B) should I be worried?
C) are there any psu options that won’t break the bank? I hadn’t budgeted for needing a replacement

Does sound like coil whine , 750w on a 7900xtx is borderline due to power spikes but psu prices are not cheap at the moment.

How old is your psu ?

What model of PSU is it? Might be a good time to upgrade.

If it’s any decent PSU with a 10 year warranty it’s probably fine.

Coil whine can be for various reasons.
