PSU or Fx Card problem??

I've started to get the nvidia warning that my fx card isnt getting enough power. I've done some googling apparently its a debatable which is to blame. Something about the PSU not supplying the power quick enough.

But to complicate matters I do have a problem that sometimes I cant power on my pc from the power button..The times it doesnt work I just have to switch off the PSU power switch untill the mobo lights off, then switch back on, and it will turn on.

So from this it seems more likely that the PSU could be the problem?

As I'm not sure which part I should replace..No spare parts so cant really swap out components..

PSU is a Enermax 850.

There should be plenty of power from that PSU, the only thing i can think of is maybe some of your cables or connectors are loose or damaged. Have you got an old PSU you can test with?

Hmm, I guess I can take apart my other pc to use the PSU, I guess that will be my first thing to do..

OCZ 780w should be ok?

They are both more than enough to power your system, good luck
