I have been advised to look into a new PSU as I will be upgrading to a new beefy GFX card. (HD4870 1gb)

I read that the card I want needs 2, 6pin PCI power connectors. Now, how many of these connectors do new PSUs have?

I was looking at the Corsair 400W, but the product page does not mention what connectors is has.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

The Corsair site is what you want for any detailed enquiries about their PSUs

Click here and go to resources tab, you will see it only has one.

I think every PSU from the 550W one upwards has two.

If the psu you're looking at has only one pci-e lead, I suggest you take this as a hint that they don't expect you to run a powerful graphics card using it. Molex to pci-e rarely ends well.

You want a bigger than 400W psu really, though even 500W would do
