PSU... pfft POWER

Hi Guys,

I have bought the Coolermaster IGreen 500W PSU, and it looks nice, perfer my old R Type Mesh body but it dont have the 8 pin P4 connector.

Now I bought this coolmaster one for the reasons that it was cheap, made by a good company

What I need to know is 500W enough and would it have been worth investing in more power.

Am gonna do light overclocking, not running SLI or crossfire yet. I have 2 CD drives and 6 SATA HDD's.

and the usuall rubbish like Creative sound, case fans etc.

Will i need more power if I wanna run SLI

Will be fine mate.. providing you're not running two x 8800s.



Just check the rails for consistanty and stablity when on load.

It should be fine a good 500W PSU like you have. It will probably restrict you on overclocking though I would think.
