psu placement inside antec 1200

should i have the psu fan facing up or down? the psu im using is a 800w BFG.

Fan should be facing up. It doesn't really get enough air if you put it down.

No! Airfrlow is just as perfectly fine with the fan facing downward. Used to have it upwards in mine but after the last clean up it went in down facing & it blows just as much air out the back as it did before.

Airflow might be ok but a PSU fan as close to the bottom panel as that will is bound to make more noise.

tbh i would go on recommendation of the manual or official website

Up or down works the same, at least there is no correlation so far with PSU's exploding more because of the orientation of the PSU fan.
