Hi. I don't know what they are called but I have a 650w modular psu. And on every power cable that I plug into my psu to my different computer components ( hdd etc ) it has 3 different plugs along the cable. Like it is one cable but has 3 branches coming off it along the cable with a different plug on the end. It has 2 big plugs and one small one at the end. Sorry I don't know what the plug/connections are called.

Anyway what I am asking is can I connect my hdd and ssd to my psu using the same cable but using a different plug from that one cable?

Thanks:)

Ye that's it. It has 2 sata and 1 little thing that I don't know what it's called. My grfx card radeon hd 7850 has 2 power connections to run it. At the moment I have 2 separate power supplies going to it. Can I just use the 1 cable with the 2 plugs for this or will this damage my card or make it run slower?
Thanks

One cable with 2 plugs should be fine, as the PSU should be designed in a way that each plug should be able to be used.

So if I understand this correctly, you had two cables coming from the PSU, both with a 6/8pin connector for the GFX card before, and you are now asking if you can use one cable as it has another connector long the line that will fit?

If so, then yes, you can do!
