PSU power connector/RIVE

Hi 8 Pack

I have just found a bit of a problem with my latest build

I am using this PSU

Which has enough power leads for 4 GPUs, but when I looked for the 6 pin power lead to put in the RIVE (for use with 4 GPUs) there is not one included.

Is it possible to convert a molex connector with an adaptor or am I stuck.

I used to test power supplies in my job and I have never heard of EVGA making a good quality power supply. They do make good graphics cards though.

Seasonic have always made the best. This is why they make the corsair gold models (they used to make the silver and bronze but cwt do now) They also make xfx and Antec HCG editions and their own brands.

Antec in my mind are the best and the ones most benches use. In short yes a 4 pin molex is fine though.

Its only been a couple of years since Antec came back to using seasonic to supply the capacitors in their power supply units. Antec did what corsair are doing now which was to keep moving around manufacturers to save money. Unfortunately this had a negative impact on Antecs profit because of RMAs etc. SO Antec have started using seasonic again for their gold rated and platinum/silver power supplies but as far as I know their bronze units are made by CWT and other lower tier suppliers.

There are also some lower tier manufacturers that people will claim to make good power supplies such as kingwing and superflower but I would not trust those two brands as a door stop never mind powering a computer.
