PSU powerful enough?

Would this system run ok on my 450W Jeantech PSU?

I would say you were pushing it with just 450W. Not saying it couldn't manage but I doubt you would be able to add anything else that required power.

My advice would be to go for at least a 500W PSU.

If that's true, your asking for problems.

I thought AMD/processor alone you need at least 18A on the +12v RAIL(s) :confused: Anyway, just don't skimp on PSU! Iinvest in a reputable one e.g. FSP, Tagan, Seasonic, etc that will last you beyond above specs! Dare I say it but, better if it DOESN'T run that rig - otherwise it means you'll be back here sharing your PC woes :eek:

yeah definitely that PSU will struggle with that rig. You should be looking at 18a or above, preferably 25a or more for that kind of system to be on the safe side IMO.
