The 'bug' obviously
World & his dog buying PC bits & the PSU factories closed down, inventory not enough due to the 'just in time supply' business plan
This might be a factor: https://www.techpowerup.com/269957/...r-its-real-and-coming-with-nvidia-ampere-gpus
PSU manufacturers could effectively 'under NDA' by Nvidia because of this, I know that theory sounds stupid, but I wouldn't put it past them to do so.
Second hand PSUs are going for top retail prices, mad. Hopfully stuff starts trickling in soon, but you'll need to be quick to get things as you're one of many waiting.
Curious thing is that here in Finland one of the biggest PC hardware shops owned by same parent company as OcUK has still been getting Seasonic PSUs regularly and exactly similar to pre-Corona virus time.
(meaning running out of stock after few weeks)
