Hi

This is my 2nd pc..

Could someone tell me if a Corsair HX520W psu can run this system OK?
DFI UT RDX200CF-DR m/b
X2 3800 cpu
HD2600XT 512meg
2GIG OCZ
7x hard drives (yes I know what you are all thinking)
4x 120mm fans
It’s just I’m having some very strange problems, sometimes boots ok other times wont boot into Vista makes it to the screen with the Knight rider strobe, but doesn’t make it to the windows vista sphere screen.
Other times hard drives are not recognised in windows but are ok in the bios.
The hard drives work ok and are not the problem.
When it's all running it's fine.
Don’t know if it’s a psu or a motherboard problem??
Any ideas!!
Thanks in-advance

The Corsair should be more than enough for that system but how have you gone about testing it so far? If you are unsure then disconnect the non-essential parts and slowly connect them up to test. Your problem doesn't have to be either PSU or motherboard, a dodgy hard drive is just as likely to cause the issue.
