PSU problem

The prongs that the power cord attaches to are coming loose. I noticed a lot of movement inside the psu when reconnecting the cord. Is it time for a new psu

I would think so, unless you want to mess about inside the psu, which isn't the best of ideas unless you really know what you're doing!

I'm afraid it looks like buying a new PSU.

PSU is like one of those components that you just DONT wana mess with. I would RMA it if its still in warranty or if not just buy a new one!

I am going to buy a new one. Despite the fact that the psu is about 16 mmonths old I'll still try to RMA it as you don't normally expect the insides to start moving around when you plug the power cord in
