Before i send this off for RMA i just wanna check it needs to be. I don't think i'm being an idiot with this.

Basically when i turn my PSU on the fan will start up and power my mobo and cpu fan. The system won't actually boot up (GPU) until i turn it on with my front panel switch. Same happens when shutting down, computer shuts down (GPU + Monitor) but the CPU fan and PSU fan carry on spinning (mobo lights stay on aswell)

Guessing my PSU is in need of an rma?

There should not be any lights or fans until the power on is activated (bu front panel switch).

Can you use PSU in another system, as it is possible it is the motherboard.

Thats what i thought aswell as my Gigabyte board phase lighting system is showing 2 green, 1 orange and 1 red. I've tried it with my Asus board though and the same thing happens....just powers on straight away.

Going to try my Asus board again tonight just to make sure.

Right..just switch everything over to the old Asus board. Same thing! Looks like it's RMA time. :(

Ah no it's not, it's a TX650W. Thats my old PSU that took my CPU with it! Standard Hiper!
