PSU QUERY

Hi All,

needing a new PSU and was wondering if I would need to get a 1000w + psu

As with latest tech they use less power etc.

if im wanting to run in sli or crossfire with latest gfx and overclock what would be the best size of PSU.

850W is plenty for most SLI/CF systems.

The GTX680s in SLI only need ~750W.

Yup, full spec including what gpu's you intend to run in xfire/sli. Thankfully the latest generation of gpu's are a lot less power hungry.

will be using the Asus z77 deluxe and 3770k and eventually go either for 2 x 680 sli or 2 x 7970s and 8gb corsair vengeance

You dont need that PSU, this is ample for your spec,
