PSU question for 480GTX

Hi, bit of a noob question, I have a Coolermaster Real Power M620 PSU:

Looking at buying a 480 GTX, do I need 6pin PCI-e to 8pin? I have lost the box as I belive it had this cable in it, if I need this is it avalible to purchase on the website?

Correct, you need a 6 pin and 8 pin. get a molex adapter if you need one.

Thanks for the replys! I can only find adapters, is this ok to use? Anywhere I can purchase the 6 to 8 pin pci-e cable?

Hopefully you caught that, im not sure if its a cable from the PSU to the card, or its a 6pin PCI-E to 8pin PCI-E adapter

It's 6pin pci-e from the PSU to 8pin pci-e to go into the graphics card. Its supplyed in the box, but I got it a few years ago and since then I can't find it.

Think I have found it, as you can't link competiters sites, is this the one:

6 pin to PCI-e 6/8 pin (Modular/Flat cable)?

Is it ok for 8 pin to be 6+2, will that work fine?

Sounds like the one. Most psu's have at least one 6+2 pin cable. It will be fine.
