I have an old but very reliable Enermax PSU which I bought when I had an XP2600 and Lanparty UltraB
It has a 20 connector and a 4 pin.
I'm seriously thinking about going Core2due. Now I know that the 20pin connector has grown to 24 but I do have a converter. Which worked fine on my P5P800SE and P4D805 (until the mobo burst into flames due to the PentiumD running at 3.8 drawing soooo much juice), so I'm guessing that this should be ok.
I guess that the 4 pin connector has remained unchanged also? If not please advice.
The PSU also has no PCI-E power cables? Can my new video card be run from a Molux-PCI-E converter?
I'd love to be able to keep this PSU and can't really afford to replace it if I don't need to. You thoughts on feasability will be appreciated.
