PSU Question

Guys,

I am interested in getting the Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU

Can someone please confirm to me what connetions you actually get with it?

Or if anyone has it their experience with it and what load they run it under.

Or if someone has a better alternative. Don't really want to spend more than £100.

they are very quiet and rock solid stable. 5 yeah waranty blah blah blah. it doesnt really get any better at this price point

What components are you intending to run on it?

600W as ample even for most high spec systems unless you are going to the extreme of running dual 8800GTXs and a quad core CPU with a 5 HDD

Running system as spec with this psu, no problems.

It's not a powerfull system.

three 4pin fans, 2900XT, e6600, Asus P4w DH Deluxe, couple of Sata drives and IDE DVD-RW

looking at that review, to confirm it has 2 PCI-e connectors?

Will it power that system fine?

YES it has 2 PCI-e connectors and yes it will be fine with no problems

Should be no problems - you could probably go for a HX520 and save some cash. The 620 does indeed have 2 x PCI-E - mine came with 2.

haha.. that appears to be happing a lot here recently James.. You take time to answer peoples questions or problems then they either completely ignore you or are to ignorant to politely say "thanks" (no directed at anyone specific - just a passing comment)
