Ok so im a noob with psu's and not really clued up with them, here is the story... For the past five months iv been fighting with my 5770 vapor-x in my machine trying to rid this damn ATIkmpag.sys BSOD error. Recently the vapor-x went back to the store for some tests as its still under warranty, and aperently they tested my card for 6hours sessions reporting no problems at all. So im like "uugh" because iv tried EVERYTHING
from testing my ram to testing my cpu with prime 95 and memtest etc to try and see if its a stability problem, but all is fine, i dont overclock. Now im all out of ideas and im thinking that it could be my psu that could be causeing it, as the guy in the shop told me they tested on a lower wattage psu and it was fine.
sorry for the story lol but id thought you may want know my problem.
The question is does this http://www.hipergroup.com/products.php?lv=4&cate=1&type=7&pid=16&action=Specification have enough power to power my 5770 vapor-x. I read that the card needs so many amps off the 12v rails, but im not even sure what that is, can someone help me out?
