Psu question ?

Ive had a corsair hx 520w psu for 5 years now running all day every day never really taxed much how much longer should i leave it before replacing with a new one ?


Do good brand psu like corsair give any warning before they fail and take your rig with it ?

The chances of a well branded taking something with it is slim, I know a couple of people who are still running the original HX series PSU's and they are still going strong.

In fact I'd say the quality has actually declined in (some of) the newer Corsair models. (Different OEM)

400W EZCool from around 2002 still going strong in my P4 rig which is currently built in a shoebox no less xD
