Hello all,

I'm now going to buy a silverstone gd09 case and want to buy a modular psu to cut down on cables for a neat looking build, my question is can I buy a modular psu with ribbon cables for a better looking finish??

I'm not sure that any PSU will come with sleeved cables out of the box.

Corsair offers cable upgrade kits for their PSUs (here), or you can purchase each cable indivudualy. The alternative would be to buy sleeved extentions or sleeve the cables your self.

Most psu's come with cables braided these days and some like the Bitfenix Fury range come with individually sleeved cables. The price is high because of the sleeving and the psu's are just mid range units that would cost around £30 less each if it wasn't for the cables. The Op is asking about ribbon cables though. Do you mean the flat non-sleeved cables? My Seasonic has these as do some of the Corsair units and the excellent Coolermaster V series (Seasonic built).

I had completely missed the BitFenix Fury PSUs, thanks for pointing those out pasty.

I assume the OP was talking about individually sleeved cables as that's very popular at the moment. Although flat ribbon cables like as seen on the Corsair HX series are cheaper, they are a bit of a paint to work with as the cables are quite stiff.
