Hi, I have just got a new PSU after my old one went BANG! (it was a alpine one... learnt it was super cheap and nasty)

I got a Corsair CX600M, but after the last psu, i'm nervous about running any games that will push my graphics card even a little bit.

My Graphics card is a XfX Radeon R9 270.. The game i was playing when the cheapy nasty psu died was Grid 2, running it over 100FPS...

I'm not really sure about what my questions actually are. I guess i just need some peoples to say its safe for me to play games more graphically demanding than farming simulator, without my new PSU going pop.

When buying power supplies you need to look at the OEM manufacturer rather than just the vendor. Certain firms such as Superflower make their own. Corsair do not. The CX600M is made by CWT, and whilst certainly much better than the power supply you had, is an average OEM. This is something to bear in mind whenever buying a power supply and you can check who made yours by going here

All that said, your current power supply will be perfectly fine no matter what game you run. Play with impunity :D
