Psu questions

Recently, when I turn my computer on, occasionally my Psu will make some strange noises, I think it is the fan, but today it was louder and more violent than it usually would be so I just want to check on what it may mean. The noise is a sort of rattling sound but not quite, it stops once the Pc has booted up completely.

I should hopefully be ordering a new Psu soon but I also don't know what to go for.
My budget Is £40 but i can maybe stretch to £45, I know it's only a 5'er more but I'm 15 so I cant afford much. It will be powering this setup or something very similar after a while.



I have decided on one of these two, but feel free to pick something else if you think is a better buy. I am not likely ever really to go Crossfire/SLi.

the earthwatts is more efficent, the akasa is quieter and all cables are sleeved

Hmm, but still , what would be better for future upgrades, like a 4870 and Quad C, these upgrades would be in a long time mind as this soon coming upgrade is supposed to last a long time.
