I currently have a Corsair HX520W psu thats about 3/4 years old i guess and it doesnt have the 8 pin atx connector and only a 4 pin one. I have been searching and keep seeing conflicting results regarding new psu time or get a 8pin to 4 pin converter cable. My spec will soon be 2500k to go with my nvidia 460 graphics card and usual other kit.
I was wiondering if the convert cable will be ok for now until i decide to upgrade the graphics card.
