PSU rating for GTX 275 SLI?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to pick up a (really) cheap GTX 275 at some point, and wondered what rating PSU I should be looking at getting. I currently have an Antec Truepower 650W, which according to the Nvidia website will have enough oomph to power it. I'm pretty doubtful, and I don't wanna make my system asplode.

Other bits in my computer include:

1 x i7 920 @2.66Ghz (for summer :D)
1 x Gigabyte UD5
1 x Intel X-25M
1 x 6Gb RAM
1 x WD Caviar Black and 1 x WD Caviar Green
1 x GTX 275
1 x PCI WiFi card
and some fans.

Would I get away with the 650W Antec? Or should I go with my gut instinct and opt for a bigger PSU?

Thanks :D

from ANADTECH, that graph is using furmark, so will stress a machine to the max.

I think 750w+ to be sure.

Im currently running gtx 275's in sli using a corsair hx 850w, rest of spec is

i7 920 @4ghz
asus p6t dlx v2
6 gb ocz reaper 1600mhz
2 x xfx gtx 275's
asus xonar dx soundcard
3 x 7200 rpm hdd's
fan controller
blu ray drive
6 case/cooler fans

Never had any issues with the psu, though the two cards do add a bit more heat to the case.

Thanks :) the HX850 is the one that got my attention, though I can't afford to shell out £150 just yet. I might pick up a cheapy card first, then wait till student loan comes in :D

I'm slightly concerned about extra heat, but I'm gunna try bodge a fan in there somewhere to direct some air away from inbetween the two cards.

My two idle at 49 and 52c respectively, load temps in game hit 70-76c, (75% fan speed), not sure if you could get a fan between them though, from what ive seen the slot spacing on the gigabyte x58 boards is a bit tighter than the equivalent asus boards.

Those load temps are pretty good. I wasn't gunna do anything too serious with a fan, I just have an 80mm lying around which I was gunna point and hope :D
