Hi there, sorry for another one of these threads but hopefully it'll be a quick one!

Will the Corsair TX 850 be able to power the following with sufficient headroom?

i7 920 @ 4Gz
DFI JR Lanparty x58
OCZ 6GB RAM (3x2)
2 x OCZ 60GB SSD (RAID 0)
2 x Seagate 320GB 2.5" (RAID 1)
2 x GTX 260 (Sli) overclocked to about 680mhz core
5 x 120mm led fans
1 x 200mm fan

thanks!!

(or shall i go for a Be Quiet? if so, which one?)

Yeh 850W will be alright.

Like Timmy said, both Corsair and BeQuiet! are good, although the latter is modular, and I would definitely want modular.

Ah great, thanks guys! Good point made about the Corsair not being modular though... hmm... might have to go for the Be Quiet.. what the hell eh :)

Thanks again guys!! *group hugs* :p

I just recently bought a Be Quiet (Dark Power Pro 650W) PSU and very nice it is too, you will be more than pleased with it...;)

Right, even though the new Seasonics have just been released, i'm going to go for a Be Quiet... question is, for my rig, which one to go for??

850w
1000w
1200w

Obivously i don't want to spend more than i have to and i don't really believe in 'future proofing'.

If 850w does the job with enough headroom then I will go for that... what do you think guys??

thanks!

I bought a Zalman 1000 watt PSU for my rig because I have future upgrades in mind...

Also, I coul afford it at the time, but the money might have been better spent on a better cpu or gfx cards. oh well, hindsight is wonderful.
