Hey guys, i've looked through the other "recommend me a PSU" threads here, but this one has a bit of a twist to it.

My Hiper is going into another PC that doesn't have such high spec components, and i'm going to buy a new one.

BUT... it's going in a Silverstone Sugo. This case can take full size PSUs, but it has a couple of criteria.

1. The PSU has to be reasonably short, as there's not a lot of room between it and the optical drive.

2. I'd prefer it to be modular or have some kind of cable tidying feature, as space inside the case is limited.

3. It's got to be silent. This is very important, as the case sits next to me on the desk, and if it was noisy i'd notice it straight away.

So come on then, what are my options? :D

Corsair HX all the way,the cables are very small & thin, making them easy to route through your case & its the quietest psu i've ever had.

The OCZ GameXtream PSU is very small, but not modular :(

Interesting, I honestly thought it would be either Enermax or Seasonic.

Who makes Corsair's PSUs for them?

Here's a quote from another thread regarding the corsair HX

You have been informed correctly, Corsair base their PSUs on the Seasonic M12 design but apparantly build to even higher quality standards (and the Seasonics are already very good quality) so I see no reason not to choose them given you are also saving money. :)
