psu recommendations to power a r9 280x

Planning on getting a gigabyte windforce rev.2.0 r9 280x and need a new psu as mine is only a 500w corsair builder series. Any recomendations?? Been looking at a few be-quite ones. Are they any good or should i avoid be-quite?

This should be OK, I think. As for the builder series, they are good but not with such a high end GPU, go for something more reliable like above.

You should be ok with your current PSU, but what is the rest of the spec?

Then yer Superflower should do fine for you if your budget is tight.

If you have more budget and would like to have a higher end brand have a look at Seasonic Fanless series

Superflower are a higher end brand, they are just not as well known as Seasonic.
