Hi all,
Apologies of this is in the wrong sub-forum - can't seem to see a PSU specific one!
My new PC build has partially arrived now, spec below.
Current PSU is a CM iGreen 600W and is around 4 years old. The +12V 1/2/3 ratings are 16/14/8A respectively. In theory I'm going to be at the 'recommended' minimum 38A to run a GTX680 (usage is around 16A I believe).
So going by this, can my current PSU support this system or would a more powerful PSU (650-750W with a 48A+ rail?) be a sound investment to add some more Amperage 'space' as a safety net?
i7 3770k
ASUS P8Z77 Pro
EVGA GTX 680 FTW 4GB
16GB Dual Channel Corsair Vengeance
Antec Kuhler 920
1x OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD
1x WD 1TB Sata-III
I know some of the above might not run from the +12V so feel free to ignore as appropriate.
I've had a look the Antec 620W H-Current, Corsair GS700 and the OCZ ZS750. But if I can get away with it...
