Hi Just got a Gbyte GA-G33M-DS2R mb with an Intel E2160 1.8GHz. Will a 300W PSU be enough or will I need more to run it reliably?

Cheers

Thought...they don't make many 300 watts PSUs these days, so is this an older one with or without 24 pin atx?

Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R
Power Connectors 4-pin ATX12V connector, 24-pin main power connector.

This is also going to depend on the quality of the PSU and what graphics card etc it's going with.
Onboard graphics I guess?

Yes will be using the onboard graphics to start with, so 300W might be enough if it was a decent PSU?

The E2160 isn't a juice guzzler, so it may well be OK with onboard graphics if it's decent 300 watter.
One way to find out.

EDIT:
Compaq Presario SR5350F
Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160
250 watt power supply
