HI guys

Can you hel me again?

I`m with a little problem here, i`ve read a little at brazilians foruns but i would like your opinion

I have 2 showers at my home, when one is turned on my PSU start making a little noise, i don`t kno how to say in English but it`s like a zzziiziziziiziz :)

when the shower is turned ff the noise dissapears

Is thar a realy issue? What should i do? Can i use the pc normally?

Thanks again

Electric shower?

Sounds dangerous. Does the electric shower have its own loop coming from the mains (recommended)? or has it been wired into the 13A socket loop (not recommended)?

When i say eletric shower i mean a normal shower

I don't know about the mains specs, i just know that it's not so good my home mains

With the shower off it not happens, so i don't know what to do with my PC

Edit: My PSU is a CoolerMaster Silent Pro 1200w Gold and i bought this one a week ago

You should use a Surge Protection socket between your PC and your PC's power socket, this would stop interfernence from other appliances in your house.

What you mean about surge protector? My English is not so good

Can you recommend one for me?

And the interference is just the noise or it an damage something?

Thanks again

I would certainly buy a surge protector. You don't want your PC to blow up due to poor electrics.

I'd second that. But I don't think it'll stop his problem. It will not protect him from poor electrics, or an overloaded ring which sounds like the problem here.

I'm assuming the sound from the PSU is the capacitors under strain because they're not getting a good enough supply of power. It could drastically reduce the life of your PSU.
