Make sure you know what you are doing first though; I for one would not feel comfortable explaining how to do it to someone due to how nasty a PSU can be.
Some modular PSU's fit into the v1000+ when you just remove the heat divider / partition wall.
Another option is to secure the PSU sticking out the back of the case a little using old school motherboard standoffs.
Done it to 2 x PSU's before - But usually after their warranties have expired.
Snipped off just beside the PCB nice and neatly.
The Chieftec PSU never worked again tho. ??
No pops, no "owww"'s, swapped the fan over at the same time.
Just never span up again.
