Hello all,

I have had my PSU for 2 years (EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W 80 Plus Gold).
I came home to my PC not turning on so I started to see red lol.

I have done the paperclip test thingy (well I have a white thing rather then paperclip) and the fans all turn on and it seems like the PSU is fine however when I try and turn it on the normal way nothing happens, any ideas guys?

Cheers
Pete

Cheers for the reply's, I have a older PSU in my old computer, like a 650w (think) so I doubt it could power it. I will have to look at it when I get back from work because my old PC is water cooled and its going be a nightmare messing around with that.
will let you guys know how it goes later.

cheers
Pete

Sorry for my super late answer, its been nuts.

Ok, so I couldn't remove the 650 psu from my old PC. So what I did was put the dead psu into the motherboard on my old PC.

The fan on the PSU turns on for about 1sec as if its going start up and then turns off so it seems the PSU is gone? what can I do next, I have never sent any part back before and I brought this back in 2015ish. I know it has a 10 year warranty?
