Hi there,

Just wondering if there's such a thing as a psu stress test/power sucking/heat inducing program, and if so looking for some recommendations. My pc's randomly rebooting (hard reset). It can happen at any time. So I'm thinking I'll start with the psu:confused:.

OCCT has a psu stress test but all it does is loads the cpu and gpu to 100% both at the same time. All the same, it's the worst case scenario you will come across on your pc. What psu is it? Ideally it would be good to test it with a multimeter at the same time to see what the rails are actually doing. Software doesn't give a accurate enough reading of voltages.

Just run something like Prime95 to load the CPU and Unigine Heaven to load the GPU at the same time, if your system can cope with that it can cope with anything.
