Right currently got the following;

ASUS P6T Deluxe V2
Corsair H50 CPU Cooler
x2 Samsung F3 Spinpoint (1TB)
x2 Samsung Optical Drives

An currently looking at purchasing following;

XFX 850w PSU or Corsair Hx750
Intel i7 920 CPU
ATI 5850 GPU
G.Skill RAM or Corsair Dominator
Asus V222H or Viewsonic 22"

Currently got that in mind an was wondering if the XFX or Corsair would be a good buy and compataible with the setup idea or any other suggestions for around the price of £120 to £140 at the very max.

Since everyone will be recommending the Corsair I figured it was worth sticking up for the XFX a little bit. :)

They're not a brand you'd associate with power supplies obviously, but they opted for the same tactic that Corsair used to break into the market and chose Seasonic as their OEM. That 850w got glowing reviews from both HardOCP and jonnyGURU so it's a more than worthy alternative if you could cope with the acid green colouring.

Having said that, a Corsair HX650w would run your proposed system without breaking sweat so maybe you don't need to even break the £100 barrier.

The Corsair HX750 and HX850 are made by Channel Well Technologies I've heard, the 650/620/520 are made by Seasonic...

I've ordered a HX850, should be here tomorrow or the day after, can't wait :D

I'm happy with my HX850, running two older graphics cards with high power draw, so I know the newer less wattage hungry GPUs will be okay upgrades.
