PSU suggestions

Hi, I've just purchased a OCZ modXstream 600 unit for my machine.

Running a 945 95w, H50 cooler, 2 case fans, 4MB DDR2 6400, 500mb Western Digital HD and currently a 4850 512 ATI.
Have a 1920x1080 monitor and a handful of peripherals (g11 keyboard, g13 gamepad, MX518 and a headset)

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card to a 4870x2, but I've heard that these cards are really juice hungry. Is there anybody running one of these cards that could give me a vague idea of exactly how much these cards draw.. I've read on certain sites that at load (3d) these demand as much as 420W :eek:

Feel I'm cutting things maybe a bit fine?

Your current PSU will be fine, I had the 4870x2 in my system with a overclocked i7 pulled about 500w from the mains.

worked out recommened 487W and min 437w, not sure about ur CPU cooler but should be fine won't add that much wattage.

Have you overclocked your cpu or are going to with your gfx.

May OC the CPU at some point, but will probably have to buy a better board as my current one is cack. Going to probably leave the 4870x2 at stock as the things get hot enough without tweaking volts

600w psu should provide enough juice.
