Recently i made the choice to purchase a GTX 560Ti (MSI Twin FrozR) in order to get some decent gaming performance out of my working but starting-to-show-its-age system. This is the first of many upgrades i will be making as i slowly build my old system into a new and highly improved one. I could blow all my money at once but i don't see the point if can save cash by upgrading bit by bit, as and when needed. So, i am in need of a new PSU for my current system and GPU, however i want it to last throughout the upgrading process and still be usable at the end of it. Basically, i don't want to buy a Power Supply now and then have to fork out for another a few months later.

The big question is what do i plan to get in the future? Not sure when it will happen exactly but i'm planning to get a i5/7 CPU, along with some decent Ram (4-8gb) and a better Motherboard which can handle SLI. Soon i will be using a GTX 560Ti but i would like room for running two of them at once a year down the road. I've got a 1TB Hard-drive waiting to be installed so that should be included too if it makes any difference.

Taking SLI 560s into mind, i've heard some people say around 650-750w. Not sure if that's correct though so that is why i am here requesting some help: I'm a complete newbie when it comes to this subject as i have no idea how voltage rails come into the equation or anything to that effect.

I'd like to keep prices below the £100 figure if possible. Even lower would be great, although even i know there is a fine line between well priced and too cheap for its own good. Modular would be nice for better airflow and less clutter, but not necessary. Any recommendations?

Heh, i was just looking at that one whilst skimming the OCUK stock a moment ago. While i wasn't sure if the wattage was enough, it did strike me as pretty darn impressive. Sounds good so far!
