MY PSU fan seems to have developed a ticking noise after the computer first boots up. Its not That loud, but i can certainly hear it over my three case fans.
It sounds lik the fans is catching on something but it appears to be totally clear.

Never noticed it before just wondering what might be causing it. Computer is running completely fine.

PSU is a Corsair tx750W.

Thanks.

I would have said a rouge cable or something else hanging down into the fan. But as you say it is clear then I'm stumped. However, convinced it's something to do with the fan.

I had a similar issue not long back, turned out to be that the PSU fan had cracked around the middle, which caused it to open up a bit and catch on the sides.

Either that or it's a bomb!

Hmm I Took the PSU out fo the case, gave it a good look, put it back in and it seems ok atm. Defo the Fan, but it looks fine.
I can still hear it, very light, sort of the level i would expect cause all fans make some kind of noise.

EDIT: nah its back :(
