I’m new to pc building, and I’m looking to buy a mobo and a psu. The psu connection is 20+4 pin, but the mobo is just 24 pin. Is this compatible?

Ok thanks- the motherboard is the asrock b760 pro rs ddr4 atx, (has no ocuk link so I didn’t include), and also without a ocuk link, the psu it the Gigabyte P750GM 750W Modular 80 Plus Gold PSU
Also, will there be a loose messy cable as I don’t include the +4?
Oh ok thxI think mattyfez misread somewhere along the line, looking at your motherboard you have a 24 way connector so connect both the 20 and the 4 to make 24

Thanks guys- I returned it am a now deciding what psu to get. I’m on a budget, so is the gigabyte ud-750gm any good? I’ve heard it’s not explosive and good for the price, and I’ve also heard good things about the Corsair rm750e, except it can be a bit noisy. any other recommendations under £90?

Also considering I’m only using a 7700xt and an i5 12400f so the load isn’t too heavy
I have three options- what should I go for
MSI Mag A750GL Gold psu
Corsair rm750e
Gigabyte UD-750GM

Ok thanks, but I think I will go for the cooler master as it has 5 year warranty on the web I’m buying it from- and I will have upgraded others parts by then, therefore eventually needing a new psu. Just to save a bit of money
