Psu upgrade

Hi everyone,I'm looking to upgrade my psu and was going to go with CORSAIR HX1500i.would it be worth waiting for the new 3.0 psu's?looking to get a 4090 at some point and apart from the single 12vhpwr cable are there many advantages with the newer 3.0 psu's?

Ya was thinking that.might go for the corsair hx1200w Instead.i have 5900x,strix x570,32gb corsair vengeance 3200mhz and corsair rm 850watt psu:

Thanks for the reply's lads.i will hopefully be upgrading the CPU,motherboard and ram so it will more or less be a new build.what I have now will go to my son so a new psu is needed.I have the cpu watercooled so the new one will be as well.so I'll have motherboard,cpu,gpu,ram,water pump,4 120mm fans,2 2tb m.2's,2 2tb ssd's and 2 2tb mechanical drives.i want to go with corsair as I've been using them for 20+ years an never had a problem with them.

@turbot1984 Ya thanks.i'll see how it goes and wait and see what new 3.0 psu's come out.
