Hi folks, quick query regarding my PSU.
I have an Antec Neopower 650w PSU powering this build:
Intel Q9550
ASUS P5Q Deluxe
4GB DDR2-1066 RAM
Radeon 4890
Had this PSU for a few years now and it's been doing me great, never had an issue with it. However, a friend of mine came into an inheritance and really wants to buy me a GTX 580 for my birthday (i'm not complaining!).
My question is.. will this power supply be able to handle the above CPU, RAM and MB plus a GTX 580? The GTX will probably be far overpowered compared to the rest of the parts but it makes a solid card to upgrade around later when I start on a new PC build at the end of this year.
I overclock the CPU now and again (to around 3.8Ghz) but it usually remains at stock. I keep the 4890 at stock and will probably do the same for the 580.
