Hi recently got a 8800GTS some of you make have read on Graphic card section, any ways i got a lock up 2 twice on XP and cant install drivers on vista.

emailed BFG and they asked me to check my v12 rails

they recommened using bios or pc wizard, i'm using pc wizard as it may show better reading as windows would use more power.

the v12 rails is 11.25 volts

now i'm using a new Tagan 600watts dual engine PSU with 4 v12 with 20A on each.

can some tell me if this is a power issue, i did geta cold boot lock up this morning.

thanks

Does look too low to me, should never really drop below 11.7v in my experience.

Quite true it does look low but you will find that the spec will be something in the region of 12V +/- 5% meaning 11.4V as an absolute low. I would expect more from a tagan.

ok checked bios and it says 11.84-11.77v

hmm if a tagan 600watts with low v12 means a faulty PSU i would assume

wow BFG's email response is very good got reply after 15mins i must be lucky lol

just a update the great ppl @ tagan replaced the the PSU on a advance RMA which means the shipped me a new PSU nextday and picked up my one.

Great Customer Service, been using their PSU's for years now.

New v12 is 11.90-11.84 and i'v had no lock ups or issues.

Thanks to Tagan and a guy called XMS ;)
