Hi guys,

Upgraded to a 4600+ X2 last night, and I noticed that the vCore rail has dropped a little bit. Orginally with my 3500+, the vCore was a rock solid 1.4. But, now it idles at around 1.33-1.35.

Just wondering is this ok? Yes it's a Hyper Type R :(

The cpu voltage for the X2 might just be lower (1.35v) compared to your 3500s 1.4v. That or it is stressing the motherboard more and causing vdroop.

Checj your 12v line not the CPU voltage to see if anything is wrong with the PSU.

The rest are all stable same similar if not same as when I had 3500+. Just vCore has dropped and now fluxes. I think the fluxing may be more than what I thought, I've seen 1.33 and 1.37

mine goes from 1.39V to 1.42V all the time, i'm assuming its the board thats making it do that since all other volts are rock solid on my enermax 500

Check the bios, if its on AUTO for the vcore, it'll flux all the time, mine does the same, though i'm up at 1.53 - 1.61 vcore.
