I purchased a coolermaster extreme power supply 650w from overclocks about a year ago and had no problems with it, now I brought my new antec 300 gaming case and samsung f3 harddrive every now and then the fan on the psu makes a vibrating noise, it happens about 10-15 mins after the computer has booted up and the sound then goes off after a couple of mins, should I re-install the psu to see if it makes any difference?
Not sure what to do.

Also if I tilt my case sideways slightly wile the psu is vibrating the noise stops but if I stand the tower back up it makes the noise again???

I'd say its bad mounting try remounting it if that doesnt work, find something to use as an absorbion material between the case and power supply to remove any vibration

Might be PSU's fan's bearing.
Especially ball bearing can make various noises when it's going bad/wearing.

Strange thing is that it wasn't making this noise in my old case only when I moved into my new antec 300 but I will try remounting and see if it helps, fingers crossed:D
