psu vs sli/crossfire

would the corsair 520 be enough for 2 x 4850 in crossfire?

or mabye 2 x 8800GT's in SLi?

or is it not happening.

I know from experience that the HX620 can handle SLId 8800gtx's and reviews have used it for 4870s in crossfire. Looking at the rest of your system I'd be surprised if it couldn't support it, certainly worth a try.

i tried a corsair 550w (not the modular 520w)a few weeks ago as i was having psu issues and the 12v rail still dipped a bit under load so i've opted fopr the 750w to be on the safe side.

SLI will certainly be ok i did it myself with 8800GS SLI on the Corsair VX450, not sure about crossfire
