Hey guys.

Currently running an i7 2600, MSI GTX 670 PE OC, 2TB HDD, 8GB RAM, MSI Z77A G45 Thunderbolt and Corsair CX600W PSU.

I want to SLI in the near future with another GTX 670, What PSU would you recommend? I would like to keep it under £100 if possible, thank you. Oh, Gold certified and fully modular personally. with ALL the slots for cables, not the 3-4 slot ones I have seen, cheers!

Best I can find under £100.

SuperFlower Golden Green HX 650W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black

It has two 6+2 pin PCIe, two 6-pin PCIe.
The 20+4pin & 4+4 CPU are fixed, but you have to use these, so I see no point in having them modular.

My system hasn't gone above 550W so far from the wall, and this unit can do 630 W output. (approximately 700 W from wall )

Looks like a bargain, don't delay etc.

No decent reviews so can't say how good a unit it is, but Superflower have been one of the best oems for a good while.

I'm planning on running SLI of 2 GTX670 on TX650, the only problem is 2 connectors missing, but adapters will take care of that for some time and luckily my r$ case is not windowed.

that Superflower at £59.99 is an awesome deal, if you got a case with decent cable management options, I wouldn't be too worried about modularity.

Thanks for the replies, using a Zalman Z11 case. not many holes for cables, and no rubber linings so I am looking for a different case come christmas.

I know they're only 5p under £100, but these are both better than the Golden Green HX 650W:

Seasonic G-650

This only has the 24pin, 4+4pin and two PCIe cables hardwired, the rest are modular.

You can also consider the Corsair RM650, EVGA SuperNOVA NEX650G Gold (not very good IMO) and the SilverStone Strider Plus 600W (SST-ST60F-PS) (not 80 PLUS Gold).

Surely there's a difference between it being better and it being worth £40 more. It is definitely better, but not necessarily worth £40 more.

Quite possibly the same psu internally. Just the OEM version. :D

Sorry to bump this, just one final question, I have found an XFX 750W Black Edition, 80 plus gold, fully modular. Am I correct in saying the guts are Seasonic, and it is a reputable brand?

I did look at the HX750 purely as I'm going for a black and blue theme but I heard it has whine issues. And the plus side of XFX is it's black.

Yes:D it is a seasonic OEM version and a very decent power supply. :D Id recommend it. But with the Superflower 650w on offer and having a 80+ gold rating its hard to ignore it as one of the best options. :D http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-004-SF&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2057

All xfx psu's are Seasonic :) Seasonic are very good.

Cheers guys, only worry that's stuck in my head, probably an irrational fear of sorts, is that SF PSU really enough for my system? i dont overclock at all, would it be cutting close to 650 w?

If you are just running a single gtx670 and i7 2600 then it will be more than enough.
