PSU Wattage for this rig please.?

Looking to get the following.

C2D E6300 cpu clocked to roughly 3Ghz (hopefully)
Gigabyte DS3 Motherboard
1GB Geil Ram DDR2
Nvidia 7600GT
1 HD + 1 DVDrw

Would a good Akasa 400W psu be enough for these setups.?
Or an Antec 380W psu.?

I'd say a good quality 400W should handle all those fine but really you are pushing it. You'll need a new PSU if you intend to do any upgrade.

Good site & gives you a rough idea of how much your system could draw with everything at 100%. But the main thing is, buy a reputable brand & you can never go wrong

For that system, this will be (more-than) good enough.

400w would be fine, I am running a 6300 @ 2.8ghz, 2gb ddr2, 7800GT, 2HDs, DVD reqriter etc. on a 430w seasonic and have plenty to spare.
