Has anyone had problems with the Hyper Type R psu going Bang before?
Annoyingly my brother was using my PC at the time (last night) happily playing Empire, when there was a large Bang, and the dredded smell of fish.
I also noticed that my belkin UPS (combo with a 6-way surge protector, strip had also died) Is it usual for both of these to die as i would have thought the belkin would have cut power to the pc and likewise not been fed back any spikes etc?
Least to say PC seems ok, have it powered by an old PSU i had kicking around in the closert, however its not got those extra 4 plug things for the atx (not sure if that matters)
