Hi guys, just a quick question. Which way should the psu go in? at the moment ive got the fan facing upwards into my case, is this ok??

Due to the arrangement of the screws it should only be able to go in one way, well thats how it is with mine.

But if it is sucking from inside the case and blowing out the back then that sounds fine.

mine is facing down
i have a nzxt hades, it has a air filter screen underneath the psu, so i thought that the fan will suck in air from beneath and exhaust out the back, to keep it cooler.
have i done mine wrong?

I don't think you have done anything wrong! :) . . it's a per "case" dependant thing . . . I've always mounted my PSU's with the fan pointing downwards (Antec 300's) in a chassis with no fan-floor-venting and it's not been a problem . . . the rail the PSU sits on raises the fan about 3/4" from the internal floor but as the bottom of the case is the coolest and there is heaps of airflow coming in from the 2x front 120mm fans the PSU doesn't get warm and its fans barely turn . . . it also means the lump of wires coming from the PSU run the straightest path to the cable-tidy area . . .

I could mount the PSU upside down but I'd be worried that any gunk or a random screw may fall into it! :D
