PSU will it be ok?

Hey all

i want to know will my psu do the job for me with this cpu im thinking of getting amd athlon 6400+ Black Edition and my psu is 550w now i have 4200+ oced to 2.6 ghz

My system

- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.6GHz (Socket AM2) [Zalman 9500cpu cooler]
- Asus M2R32-MVP Crossfire (Socket AM2) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
- Geil Ultra 4GB (4x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
- NEC AD5200 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black)
- 2x ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) in Crossfire Configuration
- Western Digital 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
- Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
- Antec TRIO 550W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU

plus 2 cold cathodes 1 extra 120mm fan
will it be ok? or i should get 5000 black edition and oc it?

From other threads on the forum the 5000+ black edition overclocks easily past that of the 6400+ Black edition
However looking at what you currently run you should have no issue's running either of them.
Personnel i would get the 5000+ and Oc and save the extra £50

just get the 5000BE, unless you can justify paying nearly twice as much for the extra cache in the 6400BE
